Bombay Post is a fine dining Indian restaurant that recreates the magic and romance of Bollywood of the sixties and seventies. The décor is simple and unfussy, the defining motif being a large black-and-white mural that features Bollywood greats, including Nargis in the classic movie ‘Mother India’, along with impressions of Raj Kapoor and Guru Dutt.
The menu of Bombay Post brings together the different flavours that make up Bombay’s crowded platter. In addition, the restaurant also serves specialties from Lucknow and Amritsar. So you can choose from street food like chat and kulfi, starters such as shahi rolls, kababs, or a main course comprising chicken, mutton and seafood delicacies.
The bar, too, is action packed, with cocktails and mocktails inspired by Bollywood. Try concoctions such as Badley Ki Aag, Dream Girl and The Burning Train.
The restaurant's culinary mosaic and Bollywood-style interior brings to life the cosmopolitan character and never-say-die spirit of Bombay, in Bangalore.
